Each summer we host a VBS open to ages 3yrs – 8th grade, free for members and non-members alike. Unlike larger church venues, our VBS offers a more personalized touch to your child’s spiritual well being. With smaller classes, our teachers are able to field more individualized questions, foster discussion, and give hands on help at craft time. Plus, no waiting in long lines for your snack!
Our VBS dates usually fall on the last full week in July. Please drop us an email (ascensionbatavia@gmail.com) if you are interested in an early “save-the-date” postcard. Otherwise check back this Spring for dates and registration.

Ascension is focused on teaching the truths of God’s life giving Word as they relate to our Savior’s death and resurrection for our salvation. It is our purpose in VBS to provide a comfortable and fun atmosphere where children can learn the stories of the Bible as they relate to their Savior who died and rose for them.
