What is depression? What role does psychotherapy or medication have in the life of a Christian? How does mental illness impact our walk as Christians? Dean Marzofka addresses these and other issues related to Christian Wellness and Mental Health. Dean is a Christian with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Wisconsin Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. He has 25 years of clinical practice in various roles ranging from individual and family work to clinic supervisor and private practice. He spoke at Ascension Lutheran Church, Batavia IL, on May 3, 2015, as part of Ascension’s annual Christian Education Sunday.
