WHO ARE THESE, CLOTHED IN WHITE ROBES? (Revelation 7:9-17)

Terrel Kesterson, May 12, 2019
Part of the series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Our text is from the book of Revelation, written by God through the Apostle John. In the first chapter of Revelation John says, “I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the Word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ” (v. 9). John had been exiled to an island because he was a Christian – a Christian who preached salvation in Christ alone and who remained faithful to the Word of God. God has given us the book of Revelation, encouraging John and his fellow believers at that time and all Christians of all time, especially when we’re being persecuted for our faith in Jesus.
